Dropped my son off for his first week of sleepaway camp...and it was RUSTIC.
Canvas tents with bunk beds circa the days of Robert Orbit, and just one small playing field in sight.
So then I get home and check the website for the camp and I find the following:
"Our program stresses cooperation and minimizes competition and regimentation. We seek to free ourselves from the violence, exploitation, and materialism of popular culture. The spiritual life of the camp focuses on the universal principles of compassion, cooperation, integrity, responsibility, and service common to all major religions."
and I'm like screaming at my wife...are you kidding me!!!
Will update when we pick him up on saturday.
the jerkin one.
Food, bunks, counselors, nurses, green, grey etc...
