Song?

I was a counselor at a Camp Alton for two years in the late fifties. A song that still resonates with me is one that begins: "What if tomorrow brings trouble or anything other than joy. What if......"

To no avail, I have asked campers and counselors who were at Alton before my time and after my time about this song.

It does sound rather ominous for a camp song, but it didn't sound that way at camp. Is this a song from my imagination or does someone out there remember the song with all its words?

I look forward to your help in giving me closure on this matter.

One last thought ere we part
Written on every heart
This motto stay.
Long may Camp Alton stand
Honored throughout the land
Our Alma Mater grand
Now and for ay.
Our Alma Mater grand
Now and for ay.

My recollection is that Roger Wasby was largely responsible for the lyrics, but I may have this anthem confused with another. What say you Roger?
