Glad tidings of joy!

After many years of wandering in the wilderness, Altonite horse-owner Joel Reingold has made it to the big time! Joel's thoroughbred, Our Brave Hobbit, is running today in the 9th race at Belmont Park.

The following news release was just received from the Erna Reingold Stables:

"Erna's OUR BRAVE HOBBIT is the morning line favorite (2-1) in today's 9th race at Belmont Park.

"You can listen to the live call of the race (5:10 PM Eastern Time) by:

"Going to: <A HREF="http://www.nyra.com" TARGET="_blank">www.nyra.com</A>

"Then, on the left of the page about half way down you will see a calendar, underneath that "Broadcast" and underneath that "Live Audio."

"Click on "Live Audio." A small window will open and you will hear the live audio feed from Belmont.

"Bear in mind that this is the track announcer -- not a sports announcer or color man. There will be many long silences when nothing is going on.

"If you turn on around 4:58 or so you should hear the post parade."

Get your bets in early, lads.
