I am sitting here watching the Red Sox/ Blue Jay game on Saturday afternoon, 5/26/01 and the Red Sox announcer, Sean McDonough started talking about his athletic past. I guess he played tennis for Hingham. When asked how good he was, he said he couldn't hold a candle to the Hingham #1 player at the time, Bobby Bortnick (sorry Lou, he didn't mention you). The name from the past brought a smile to my Saturday aftertoon. Hope all is well with everyone.
