1971 Flag Rush Video Posted: Sat Dec 18, 2004 10:10 pm

by Gary Scharoff
Hi All!!!

I am pleased to announce that I have just added a 5 minute "video" of the 1971 Flag Rush...

It is currently only viewable using Windows Media Player...I am in the process of converting it so that Real Player will also work...please be patient.

Remember this was 8mm movies that were converted to video so the quality is not great - however you will definitely recognize the faces!

Click on the link below and go to the bottom of the page.

If there are any problems please let me know - otherwise....ENJOY!!!

Gary

Hi again
I am sure that someone did some 8mm in 1970, because if you look at my pic from 1970 entitled 'Latest in swimwear', there is someone top left of pic with a Cine camera bag, I have a funny feeling that it was Mel, if I am wrong then I apologise, but there was someone taking movie in 1970.
Let's hope that we find it.
Seasons greetings

Gary,

I have tried three times to open the '71 flag rush update in Real Player on my I-book (OS X, version 10.2). The fact that it will not open is obviously the fault of the current administration's economic policy in East Timor and the reason that John Edwards is not the Vice President!

I am quite confident that David Davis, Ken Warshaw, Mark Brecker, Cousin Meryl and Tony "Thanks-Gillott" will agree with me on this!

Hi there Neil
I think that as you know (and I am an expert on this subject, see my earlier post about Geoffrey Wolfe's underpants) most toilets flush in the key of e-Flat and this coupled with the impending shortest day of the year would be creating a discrepancy in the solar flares at this time of year.
Or you could try double clicking on the link if all else fails, but I think that the major problem your end could be resolved if you examine the operator error scenario.
Best wishes
Tony G
PS
I hope that you get it resolved soon, because there are a couple of shots of the 'Big Guy' in overdrive!!

I agree with anything Uncle Neil may say, at least until he says it!

Well that is a good one...of course I tried it using a "REAL" computer not one of those Apple Mac things - so I am not sure about that...will have to investigate.

Neil: I also use the correct computer system, and was able to download the windows media for mac OS X. It works great. I could make out Peter Greene, Bruce Goldberg, Mitchell Shore, and Peter Rich. Some with flags in tow, many being tackled.

Good luck
