GREAT RED SOX VICTORY

Eight quick games and the San Diego led Boston Red Sox have proven that they are the best in the World. Great pitching, great hitting, and great teamwork, and the Red Sox made a World Series Victory look too easy after all of these years. The Celebration in Boston and San Diego is beyond belief, and even some of the "doomsayers" are trying to reverse themselves. The Red Sox left no doubt that it was not "dumb luck" even though "LA Bob" labeled it that after the fourth Game.

In a separate letter to me today, "LA Bob" now insists "that the Cardinals aren't my team", which isn't what he was writing in this column several days ago, before they were massacred. Sounds like a confused "loser" to me.

As reported by me earlier, I am certain that somewhere in "Heaven" San Diegan Ted Williams is celebrating today, but he also preparing more advice for the Team so that they can do it again next year. I can officially report, at this time that Ted and the "San Diego leaders" of the Red Sox will be honored appropriately for this momentous accomplishment, in the near future, in San Diego.

Finally, with the Series over, I hope that "LA Bob Aronoff" won't drown swimming "swimming down to the beach at Camp (per Gary Scharoff). I hope that he'll spend time shaking the Smog out of his head, so that he may "think" and write more clearly. I would also make one additional wish, that someday the San Diego Trio (Lucchino, Steinberg, and Epstein) will be able to help our San Diego Padres "Break the Curse" and win the World Series.

Best Wishes to all BOSOX LAND, may WE enjoy many more.
