Calling Gary Markoff!!! Posted: Thu Oct 28, 2004 1:11 pm

<STRONG>Who left the oars and life jackets out????</STRONG>

Was perusing a lake Winni website and came across a brand new picture of the pavilion and rocks in their present condition...must admit they look better than they did when the camp was there but it has lost that rustic look!

If you look carefully I believe that is Bob Aronoff swimming down to the beach to pay for being off honor roll this week...shame shame shame on you!!!

If you look carefully behind and to the right of the flag, and above the new stone wall, you'll see a concrete structure that has been under construction most of this past summer. According to our friend Irving Roberts, this is going to be an inground (heated of course) awimming pool. Apparently, the lake is too cold most of the time. Tell that to the poor guys who put in the H dock at the beach every summer.
Speaking of the beach, the house loacted at the beach is available for just over 5 million.

Maybe now we can get a few people to pool there money and make it a Camp Alton Rental...a time share...$5 million should be easy to get and we can have Irving as the care taker...this way we take back the beach...

It is a start then we can work our way up the bunkline until we have taken back the entire piece of propery!

It's the latest incarnation of Flag Rush...

How bout it? <IMG SRC="http://www.campalton.com/smilies/smile.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=":)">

Hi Bruce et al.

Cool pic. Hard to think of any use for The Rocks in the context of a private home. If it is not a year-round home (if it is his summer place) maybe the owner would rent it out to a group of us for some gathering some time. Nice to day dream.
