Now that I have your attention.Each year I co host a radiothon for leukemia..my partner and i are on the air for 28 hours beginning today July 15 at 3 PM thru Friday 7 pm...I would appreciate any donations..the number for donations during those hours is 866 FAN 1130...
The station is WDFN in Detroit..and thanks to my early training at camp I have been doing sports talk radio for ten years..
Somehow play by play of the classic Alton Remedial vs Doom team game in the mid 70's helped my life...Was there a better fiedling first baseman than Bobby Fine????? or a hurler better than Jeff Berkman..Who was faster on the bases Dusty or Peter..Most underrated player Dave Rosen although Steve Kohn was scrappy as hell..
