    Gov. Romney helps rescue family from Lake Winnipesauke

    WOLFEBORO, N.H. (AP) Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and two of his sons helped rescue a family from a sinking boat in Lake Winnipesaukee over the weekend, a New Hampshire official said.

    The 21-foot wooden 1966 Raven boat with six people and a dog on board started taking on water Saturday evening about 300 yards from the shore at Wolfeboro, N.H., said Sgt. Eric Robertson of the New Hampshire State Marine Patrol.
