A few of you remember me from 1970 and you may have looked at my current employment as a teacher.
Well, today I was teaching a math group, year 10 we call them, tenth grade to you maybe, but 14 year olds, not the brightest group either.
One in the group made the observation that it was the 11th September. Another said that we, the class, should observe a minutes silence, that it would be appropriate.
We duly did observe that minutes silence and I have to confess that I felt very moved by their very respectful manner.
Let us wish that it is kids like those, that inherit the earth.
