New Arrival

After large servings of Chinese food last Monday and numerous racks of barbequed ribs last Tuesday failed to induce labor for my wife, the lovely and talented Dana Frieda Witkin made her first appearance Thursday, June 13, at 12:50 a.m. She weighed in at 6 lbs., 5 oz., less than twice the size of the unfortunate lobster whose fate it was to be served with black bean sauce in the aforementioned Monday night dinner.

The restaurant was Sam Woo, the Irvine, CA location. They are in California and Ontario, Canada, but I'm not sure where else.
The menu, to the best of my recollection:
-Hot and Sour Soup
-Minced Duck in Lettuce Cup
-Whole Lobster served in Black Bean Sauce
-Hot Braised Shrimp
-Less spicy shrimp and chicken dishes- I don't remember the details
-Hot Braised String Beans
No Lo Mein, we go to noodle shops for that.
