Those who once sat in the Garden remember the years of defensive play that made the Celtics great. Today may not match up to yesteryear but what does?

Not much talk here in NYC about the Nets lost. They are really not "serious fans" here...for the Nicks maybe but not the Nets.

Serious fans in the NY metropolitan area will continue to root for the Celtics...remembering...

All I know is I am loving watching the Celts play this far into the season, all the while surrounded by the 'Sixers unfaithful whine and moan about Larry Brown & A.I., blah, blah, blah.
Go Celts.

Sixers unfaithful. Do everyone a favor - just speak for the Celtics and that's plenty. The Sixers make no excuses for having a sub-par season, except that changes will be made in the off-season. Enjoy the dream season while it lasts.

Uncle Markie....where have you been??? Missed you!

I agree but without Green vs Gray...with Gray coming out the winner...there is not much else to root for...especially with summer just around the corner...we should be taking out the camp clothes and checking to see what still fits from last year...in the good old days it was the clothes being to short...but as we got older it was the clothes being too SMALL!!!

My trunk is packed how 'bout yours!

One suggestion for improving the 76ers. Have your franchise player practice. Go Celtics. We dominated Philly in the 80's and are on a path to re-establish it in the 00's.

Why should he practice? Have you ever heard of media hype following a first round exit from the playoffs. Oh yeah - Celtics haven't been there in a while.

As for franchise players, does staying out of clubs and getting stabbed in the stomach at 3:20 AM count as leading by example?

The Celtics are not familiar with first round exits from the playoffs, but the 76ers are not very familiar with winning championships either. I guess that is the difference between practicing and not practicing.

Professor?

How does practice make perfect? Let's see what my good friend Rick Pitino used to say?.....

As for the Peltics and the Nots, the only good thing about being in attendance for the last game at the Meadowlands with a client was watching a Paul Pierce jersey-laden slob getting the crap kicked out of him in the parking lot by six bottle-wielding Nots fans (Philly-style- I may add)

As for practice, does that mean that Paul Pierce might practice free throws or Kenny Anderson might practice playing defense? I hope the Peltcis make it to the next round so Shaq can really perfect his game against that almighty secret weapon of the Peltics - Vitaly (another great tarde). The only good player this series for your "team" is Rodney Delk and he won't be around next year. But, then again, neither will Dikembe.
