Hello Hello Hello:

The Brooklyn Bowl approaches, and only a handful of former greats have made plans to attend. This isn't first period swim -- this is Competition, for g-d's sake (that's for you, Markie.) Not that there was anything wrong with first period swim, mind you. I found it quite refreshing.

Anyway, the date is still set, your dreams are, I hope, still wet, and I expect that many more Altonites from the New York area willl make it. There are even rumours of a rare appearance by Jewronimo.

Because we won't be playing the game right where we are meeting, RSVPs are helpful. Otherwise, you could find yourself wandering through the park for hours as Neil Seideman did last year.

What about pre-reville swim [after an Aiken and/or a Schvitz, as in Pitz].
Hope I won't be [too] hung over. The night before will be a [Bronx] wedding reception of my then Ethiopian [now Eritrean] best student a mere 3 1/2 decades ago! "D" train anyone?
