Camp Alton Message Board

By 1990, it looks like the entire camper population couldn't fill out the "130 strong" of the Gray team immortalized in "Sound the Good Old Bugle, Boys". For the last ten years, I had been blaming camp's demise on the CIA, the Mob, Castro, that guy on the not-so-grassy knoll above the rocks in these photos (Herbie?)... But the Rocks look emptier than Montreal's Stade Olympique during a September Expos-Padres game. Would all these kids have fit inside the Old Birch Inn for one screening?
