Re: Uncle Moishe

I have no words to describe what has happened, but my prayers go to you all. We all hope that Markie is safe and well, his phone number if it is still working and he has paid the bill is 212-831-7780, well it was in 1970. If I try I will probably call him in the middle of the night, but one of you g...

The venue

Hi guys I would never have believed the response that I have created, it just shows the power of the Internet. Sid has suggested a place on Lancaster Ave. in Ardmore called "Pizza & Pasta Kitchen". That sounds good to me. I am leaving the UK in around 36 hours time, so that is where I will be. I apo...

Re: Flag Rush Memorial Holiday

I have tried to e-mail all of the guys on the Alpha list who would have been there in 1970, unfortunately some have changed their e-mail address and are unobtainable.
I hope that I have got through to some of them.
Let's go for it.
Best regards

Re: Flag Rush Memorial Holiday

I am on my way!!!!!! The flag that I bring may have lots of diagonal stripes on, but it will still be red, white and blue. Looking forward to seeing you guys. I will be with my wife and daughter, 14 (going on 27) years and they are looking forward to meeting some of my old buddies. Nothing too grand...

Thursday 23rd August, Sid?
Is that an official invitation?
Somewhere near your place on Thursday evening sounds good to me.
See you there,

Re: Running with the bulls vs the Rush

Woody Shore and I visisted Pamplona in 1972, we stayed 3 days quite a feat in the middle of a party that lasts 7 days 24 hours a day! We watched the bulls run on the first day and decided that staying drunk was much more preferable to being trampled by 2 ton bovines. What a party though! Regards Ton...

Re: Wolfeboro Fair

Heeeeeeeey Sid. What is this "Bumming a ride to town" did you not get the 'Lady' with the big 'Bezooombahs' from Kehonka, (You know the one, her Daddy left her the 'Caddy' for the summer) to give you a ride and then drive you into town afterwards. Then walking down the road in total darkness???? No ...

Re: Wolfeboro Fair

I never did get the hang of you guys with your funny accents, I thought it was "Chug-a-Lug"
Strange way of talking!!!
Maybe because you 'Chucked' all the tea overboard and had nothing civilised to drink you never developed your vocal chords properly.
Best wishes guys.

My Summer 0f '70

Hi guys, Remember me? You must do, the good looking, soccer playing, limey, as you affectionately called me. How did I get here? Well I went to Yahoo and typed Camp Alton and here I am. I always wanted to get back to camp, but I think now, that I may be upset. The memories and a few pictures, ( I ha...
